The Left-hand path to me symbolizes travelling up through the Inner worlds in a negative state of consciousness and perhaps becoming a black magician. To me C. W. Leadbeater from the Theosophical Society refers to the Left-hand path when he teaches:"The path of the moon is said to typify the life of the ordinary man who clings to objects of desire and parts with them reluctantly at death. After a period in the astral and heavenly worlds he returns to earth to repeat the process. It is the path of rebirth after intervals." (p275 "The Hidden Life in Freemasonry" by C. W. Leadbeater)
In the Bible Paul the Apostle writes an epistle to the Romans in which he points out that "to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."(Romans 8;6) Also Saint John the Divine teaches us: "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God... He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the Second Death."(Revelation 2:7,11) The Second Death is considered by some to be the Death of their Inner body after the first death of their physical body which eventually leads to reincarnation. The Ascended Masters point out that it is in fact far more serious involving the removal of the outer identity of the personal self completely from existence which means that spirit has to begin the human cycle of Birth and Death all over again whereas most spirits re-embody progressing towards the Ascension. I should point out however; I am not suggesting that a spirit who travels up the left-hand path must pass thru the Second Death. They have the choice I believe to turn to the Light. What this means in the long run is that everyone will eventually gain the Resurrection and the Ascension it is simply a matter of time. "As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order."-Saint Paul (1 Corinthians 15:22-23 Bible) In fact we are amongst the slow ones. For example "Michael the Archangel" (Jude 1:9 Bible) is a Great Cosmic Being. Thousands of centuries ago He ruled in what is now America.
There are many who believe that Re-embodiment or Reincarnation means we have evolved from the animals therefore in the future we could regress back into an animal incarnation. You may be pleased to know this isn't true according to the Ascended Masters. Saint Germain teaches that the human Soul never evolves through the animal. The human Soul came directly from God. Therefore it could not have evolved out of the Group Soul of the animal. In "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" by Levi (52-53) when Jesus is residing in Tibet, before His mission in Jerusalem, He challenges a Mastermind by the name of Arabo concerning his belief that man can evolve through the animal kingdom. "And Jesus said, enlightened Arabo are you a Mastermind?... Do you remember Arabo when you were ape or bird or worm? ...Time never was when man was not." In "The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ" by Niccolas Natovitch (p36) "The Divine Issa (Jesus) taught the people... Never will He (God) humiliate His child (mankind) by causing his soul to emigrate... into the body of an animal. This account of Jesus' life and teachings in Jerusalem, India, Tibet and Persia is taken from two manuscripts read to Nicolas Natovitch by the lama of the Himis Convent which were translated from rolls belonging to the Lassa Library. These were placed in a Convent standing on Mount Marbour near Lassa. (p44) This version was originally recorded within three or four years after the death of Christ. (p45) Jesus visits and stays in foreign lands is an absolute certainty, as many ancient Essene documents verify this same account of events according to Frank J. Muccie Jr. (p5) In the book "Beyond the Himalayas" by Murdo MacDonald Bayne (p98) the Geshi Tung La claims to have records of the Master Jesus in Tibet and says He is still with them. According to the Bible Jesus teaches the people of Jerusalem: "Other sheep (disciples) I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."(Saint John 10:16)
If mankind doesn't evolve thru the animal kingdom then how did we get here? According to "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" by Levi (p53) Jesus teaches that "The ethers all became more dense, and all the creatures of these Planes were clothed with coarser garbs, the garbs of flesh, which man can see; and thus this coarser manifest, which men call physical appeared. And this is what is called the fall of man; but man fell not alone, for... earth, and plant and beast were all included in the fall. The angels and the cherubim fell not; there wills were ever strong, and so they held the ethers of their Planes in harmony with God." I believe this is what the Bible means when it says: "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created... And every plant of the field before it was in the earth... and man became a living soul." (Genesis 2:4-5,7)
Science vs. Religion
I know this isn't what Science teaches us however I do not believe Science has a perfect understanding of all things any more than Religion has a perfect understanding of all things. To me the Truth lies beyond them both however we should learn from both because to do otherwise is to throw the baby out with the bath water. It is better to look for the Golden Thread of Truth which runs thru all Religions and all Science. Pure Religion & pure Science go hand in hand.
Creation vs. Evolution
According to Science we all evolved naturally from animals over millions of years into humans. According to the Bible God created man & the animals in 6 days. But what if the Truth lies beyond both these theories. The Bible account of Adam & Eve I believe reveals to us our own individual history which stretches back more than 4 million years on this planet. The creation of Adam to me symbolizes our own creation out of the Great Central Sun as the White Fire Body of the I AM Presence. The creation of Eve from the body of Adam to me symbolizes the creation of our Twin-Rays or Male & Female Electronic Bodies of the I AM Presence in the Central Sun. When we manifested our lower selves onto this earth over 4 million years ago the earth was in a Celestial state referred to as the Garden of Eden in which "Adam and Eve" walked & talked to God. (Genesis 3:8-10)
Golden Age
According to the angels who taught Swedenborg: "The most ancient people were Celestial people and actually talked with angels. The Lord often appeared to them and taught them...(verse 87) Through them heaven was bonded to earth. On this account that era was called the Golden Age." ("Heaven & Hell" by Emmanuel Swedenborg. Verse 115) The Eastern teachings inform us we are living in the Kali Yuga or Iron Age & the earth used to be in the Satya Yuga or Golden Age. I believe the Prophet Joseph Fielding Smith, from the Mormon Church in one of his books entitled 'Doctrines of Salvation,' teaches that the earth used to be in a Celestial State until its fall and that it will be restored back to a Celestial State in the Future. According to the Ascended Masters there have been "six or more Golden Ages down through the centuries that were maintained for thousands of years with no destructive force and these people got the Ascension and then the civilization decayed. Atlantis was the sixth Golden Age however complete Perfection has never been reached on this earth since the second Golden Age. Animals were not in existence upon this planet during the first two Golden Ages! They only began to appear after humanity had generated the discord which followed those first two periods. (See p149-150 "The Magic Presence" by Godfre Ray King) Of all the vast civilizations which have come and gone the records of them still remain; and all mankind will one day have access to them and know all that has really been. The research of the outer world cannot possibly determine all that has gone before; but the records kept thruout four and a half million years, will show to mankind the Evidence and the Truth of all that has gone before. Some of these ancient civilizations include Atlantis, Lemuria and the civilization on the Hyperborean continent. I believe Lemuria is also referred to as the continent of MU. Everything in the Pacific was at one time part of the land of MU. In the book "Theosophy and the Seven Continents" by David Pratt he points out that H. P. Blavatsky writes: "We believe in the seven continents, four of which have already lived their day, the fifth still exists, and two are to appear in the future."("The Secret Doctrine" by H. P. Blavatsky 2:404) The first continent -the Imperishable Sacred Land -is the most mysterious of the seven continents... "This 'sacred land'... is stated never to have shared the fate of the other continents; because it is the only one whose destiny it is to last from the beginning to the end... It is the cradle of the first man, and the dwelling of the last divine mortal"(S. D. 2:6) Hyperborea: "The second Hyperborean continent"(S. D. 2:7, 11-12, 401, 775 and "Theosophical Glossary" by H. P. Blavatsky p147) Lemuria, the third continent embraced large areas of the Indian and Pacific oceans (S. D. 2:781) ...Australia is the largest relic of Lemuria (S. D. 2:314) and other fragments are the many islands in the Pacific; it also included a large portion of California. (S.D. 2:7, 328,788) Atlantis' main centre being located in what is now the Atlantic Ocean. (S.D. 2:402, 405) ...The Atlantic portion of Lemuria was... known as Atlantis. Two Trees in the Garden of Eden
In the Garden of Eden there were two Trees, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life. The LORD God teaches Adam & Eve concerning "the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil; thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."(Genesis 2:17) Thus we have represented what I have called "The Three-fold paths of Life and death." (See chart p1) The Left-hand path is the branch of evil. The Right-hand path is the branch of good on the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Both these paths lead to death or re-embodiment & mankind has gone thru hundreds and thousands of embodiments. The Secret Middle Path is the Tree of (Eternal) Life. In the book "Beyond the Himalayas" by Murdo MacDonald Bayne (p169) Geshi Tung La teaches: "The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil grows out of man's own mind while the Tree of Salvation-Life grows out of God, being Eternal and everpresent." When Adam and Eve partake of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they are cast out of the Garden of Eden bringing about the Fall of man. If you have ever read the Bible you may have noticed that "all the days that Adam lived were 930 years: and he died."-Moses (Genesis 5:5) According to the Mighty Ascended Master Cuzco, Who I believe gained His Ascension over 1 million 400 thousand years ago, mankind has from Age to Age drawn the limit of physical life shorter and shorter; for it is not so long since you used to live 250 years in one embodiment; but you cut it down to three score years and ten. (Approximately 70 years) How and why? By greater and greater density due to more and more discord in the feeling. To me the "Fall of man symbolizes" our turning away from our Mighty I AM Presence thus bringing about our Fall from Grace and the Fall of the earth with us. The Ascended Masters teach that after nearly 3 million years mankind is responding from its downward trend. Considering we are responsible for the Fall of the earth we are therefore responsible for its Resurrection & Ascension back up into a permanent Golden Age. Thus the earth will become a Celestial World as described by Saint John the Divine in the Bible: "And I saw a... New Earth: for the first... earth (was) passed away: and there was no more sea... God... will dwell with... His people... And there shall be no more death... And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the Glory of God did lighten it... There shall be no night there... Blessed are they... that... have right to the Tree of Life."(Revelation Chapters 21-22)
Second Coming
In the last book of the Bible's Old Testament, Zechariah apparently gives a prophecy concerning the Second Coming of Jesus to the Jews in Jerusalem: "And the LORD my God shall come, and all the Saints with Thee. (14:5) And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced (12:10) And one shall say unto Him, What are these wounds in Thine hands? Then He shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of My friends. (13:6) In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem."(Zechariah 12:11) Benjamin Creme declares that "the Hierarchy of Masters is returning to the world for the first time in 98,000 years." (Share International, September, 2006) The Ascended Masters teach that the United States of America as a Nation shall Ascend into the Octave-of-Light's Activity which brings in the full Perfection of the Golden Age. This will provide the conditions for the return of Jesus and the other Ascended Masters to move among mankind as in the Golden Ages of the past to teach the people and help raise them into their Eternal Freedom of the Ascension.
